Study Mussar with Nefesh and Rabbi Susan Goldberg this spring. Four Sunday Sessions on Zoom: 3/26, 4/16, 5/7, 6/11 2pm-3:30pm PST This four class cycle will focus on one particular middot at each class: Ahavah/Love, Yirah/Fear-Awe, Ometz Lev/Courage, Simcha/Joy What is Mussar? Mussar is spiritual wisdom and a discipline of transformative practices. We center the deepest values of the Jewish tradition, the middot, as the grounding framework for our spiritual practice. Rabbi Susan's Mussar is emergent, feminist, queer and embodied. Designed for both beginners and those who have studied Mussar before, this year's classes will be on Zoom, with two optional chances to meet in person for a special in person chevruta study, on 3/26 and 4/23. Suggested Participation fee: $200 The fee above helps us to cover the costs of this offering. Tickets are Pay What You Are Able so that you can contribute more or less as a donation, depending on your capacity. No one turned away for lack of funds.
